City of Turku/Åbo Print

City of Turku (Åbo in Swedish) is the oldest city in Finland, founded in the 13th Century. Today Turku is one of the biggest cities in Finland with its population of 175 000.

Turku is also a busy student town with about 30.000 students of higher education during the academic year.

City life is focused around the river Aura and also many of Turku's historical monuments are located by the river.
